Job Title: Acquisition Representative

Reports to: Development Director Germany

Engagement: Full time


Position summary

One of the key markets of SC’s expansion strategy includes Germany. Externally, candidate to represent SC’s site development strategy to site owners, developers, agents, city planning authorities etc. to identify suitable sites in view of new SC hotels (greenfield, brownfield developments). Internally, candidate will be provided with site acquisition criterias for a defined market area. Based on the critieras candidate to identify suitable sites. Identified sites to be presented in a set form to German development director for review. Shortlisted sites to be prepared for further investigations by the candidate. Candidate will support the German development director in the following negotiations until exchange of a lease. Candidate will execute defined acquisition plan and incentivized upon level of success. Candidate is part of the German development team reporting to the German Development Director, being supported by the development and design teams based in Dublin.


Essential duties

=        Understand property related environment (market, legal, technical etc) of your acquisition zone

=        Identify suitable sites according to acquisition profile

=        Identify vendor/landlord site of selected sites

=        Prepare presentations in a set form about potential leads for review by German development director

=        Coordinate and attend meetings with site owners, agents, developers etc.

=        Support German development director in negotiations until exchange of lease.

=        Provide weekly report on each project / workflow

=        Manage information flow externally and internally in the acquisition phase



=        Experience with hospitality industry or property projects appreciated

=        Property related training / education (i.e. Kaufmann der Grundstücks- und Wohnwirtschaft)

=        Initial experiences (sales, acquisition department) in the property industry (i.e. Immobilienmakler, Vertrieb oder Akquisition in Immobilienwirtschaft)

=        Drivers License

=        English in writing and speaking
