SEO Specialist

Responsibilities


  • Content strategy implementation - incorporating social media and external writers.
  • Translation and localisation of web content.
  • Develop local strategies to enhance and localise global activities
  • Optimise copy and landing pages for search engine optimisation.
  • Work with content writers to drive SEO in content creation and content programming.
  • Create reports showing web analytics data and site evaluations.
  • Manage meta search engines, incl Trip Advisor & Trivago. 
  • Develop innovative yet ethical link building campaigns.
  • Produce regular audits of the performance of our SEO initiatives.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure their delivery is SEO friendly.
  • Work with content editor to publish content. 
  • Work closely with other team members and management to define and meet company goals.


Requirements


  • 5+ years of professional and demonstratable experience. 
  • The ideal candidate is a team player with a pro-active and positive mindset.
  • Willing to roll their sleeves up and be part of additional projects if required.
  • International and multi lingual SEO experience is essential.
  • The ability to deploy an effective local and long-tail search strategy.
  • Highly numerate with a demonstrable data driven approach to problem solving.
  • Proven technical/content SEO experience.
  • Experience conducting detailed competitor analysis and market research.
  • In-depth experience with common SEO tools i.e. Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Majestic, Screaming Frog.
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition 
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
  • Experience working with e-commerce websites & Wordpress.
  • A third level qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
